So happy to meet with Yast again, and with the full band this time! Session filmed with Tobias in 2014, it's been 10 years since the band had released any music.
Their third album, "Premium," was released a month ago, and luckily when I was in Malmö last August, I was able to film a session with them.
A beautiful album that retains resolutely dream pop sounds, with guitars leaning toward a more stripped-down classical style, while maintaining the airy melodies that preserve their ethereal character.
For the occasion, I joined them in their rehearsal studio for a full set and truly excellent performance of their song "A World Like No Other."
