While searching for new music I came across the band Rånda. I immediately loved their music. An indie folk style like Mumford & Sons with sometimes Celtic notes.
The band offers a composition of neat and melodic instruments all carried by a deep and powerful voice really excellent.
Rånda is really a band to discover and enjoy.

I went to meet them in Uppsala, where the band has moved to for a year. For this session they performed the song "All I Know" from their album "Reservoir", song they recently released in a new acoustic version.

Originaires de Rättvik dans le Dalarna, le groupe Rånda présente ce qu’ils aiment appeler un folk indépendant scandinave.

Désormais basés à Uppsala, où ils sont déménagés afin de se concentrer sur leur carrière musicale et y établir un studio d’enregistrement commun.

Fort de ses membres Mia Börjes, Simon Vågbratt Björklund, Erik Backlund, Sol Magnus Laggar et Jonathan Jobs, le groupe a sorti de manière indépendante son premier album en 2018, intitulé Reservoir.

Certains des membres sont des amis d’enfance alors que d’autres se sont ajoutés plus tard pour participer à ce grand projet collectif où certains ont appris à jouer des instruments dont ils n’avaient aucune notion à la base.

Leur plaisir vient surtout du partage du mode de vie de la musique et les souvenirs qui en découlent.
