Jenny Lysander is a folk artist I discovered in Paris when she played at the festival Les Femmes s'en Mêlent. Her style very folk and her mesmerizing guitar skills really touched me. Softness in her voice and music.
She released in France last spring her first album, produced by Piers Faccini.
During my trip in Stockholm this summer, I wanted to meet her again and do a session. Jenny could borrow her mother's boat, and she took me to a place I didn't know, a small island known to be an ancient viking place.
After sailing across the beautiful archipelagos, we arrive in Brika and start our adventure in a small church very original.
Then we continue and find a nice little spot next to a flock of sheep.
I spent a very good time with Jenny and I was very glad to discover Birka.
