DANIEL4EVER

Daniel4Ever is a new band led by prolific author and poet Daniel Boyacioglu, himself joined by renowned percussionist Nils Törnqvist and multi-instrumentalist Markus Jägerstedt. Wanting to have a closer approach to words and their raw power, the band presents a sound focused on slam and rap, illuminated by the right and soft instrumental touch.
The trio offers, in the Swedish language, serious and profound retrospections on societal issues, existential questions and the ups and downs of human existence.
It was in a studio completely emptied of all recording equipment that we filmed this session. Joined by xylophone and accordion Daniel performed the song "Vila i Frid Kusin", a song in honor of a cousin who was murdered at the age of 23. It is about the violence in our streets and about the extremely meaningless and inconceivable death. A soft ballad to always remember him.

The album which results from this exceptional meeting of brilliant creative minds is called "Dom Kort Man Fått". The band is already popular due to the solid stature of its members, its few singles released during the year 2021 have received special attention. Titles such as "Sång För Sanjin", "Ge mig All Din Love", "Avskedssång" and "Vila i Frid Kusin" have really set the table for what this first opus has in store for us which suggests a great critical success. It is very easy to get carried away by the clear and comforting voice of Daniel Boyacioglu through his finely tied texts which will surprise, touch and raise awareness among music lovers from all walks of life.
