Johan Olsson had written to me a few months before to introduce me to his music, and I really liked his refined and melodic folk style.
So I contacted him during my visit to Göteborg this summer to do a session.
Johan plays a style of music called "Visa" which corresponds to folk ballads, simple and melodious, which tell a story and reflect a musical tradition deeply rooted in Swedish culture.
We sat down in the Trädgårdsföreningen park in the heart of the city center. And with his deep voice Johan offered me a sweet and melodious moment by interpreting 2 songs with finesse.
