Ida is an artist I discovered before going to Umeå. Looking for local artists to film during my trip there, I was happy to meet her and to do this session.

Ida sings in swedish and her folk performance by the water was really nice. She just released her first EP more alternatif rock, really excellent ! An artist to really check out.
In this video the song is about being exactly who you are, beyond all norms and conventions. To be a woman is to be exactly who you are and nothing or no one else.

Ida Boija

Ida Boija est une artiste pop, rock progressif.
Obstinée et avec une voix qui ne connaît pas de limites, Ida écrit sur ce qui compte pour elle et dit les choses comme elles sont, honnête et naturelle.

Pendant six ans, elle a vécu à Stockholm où elle s'est formée en tant qu'actrice et a participé au fil des années dans des productions cinématographiques, mais surtout dans des pièces de théâtre.

Aujourd'hui, Ida vit à Umeå et quand elle ne joue pas de la musique, travaille comme bibliothécaire se focalisant en particulier sur l'intégration.
